They are smaller and come in 20 and 40 gig from what I have heard, but other than that I dunno
It's just a few months back it was £299 for a 3rd Gen 20gb one.
I think it\'s because 5th generation is out now.

It's a good job the iPod can be used as a storage device as well. I doubt anyone would fill a 40 GB with mp3's never mind 60.

I cannot understand the need for more than about 5gb - its not as if you're on an artic expedition and need 16 weeks of solid music.
