Was this inspired by Timmargh, by any chance?
Anyhow, I was looking at getting an iPod mini until I did an size count on my music storage; a gigabyte too much, so it looks like I won't be able to play music while wearing the player on my arm (using the armband thingy).
So, the iPod it is, and a question for those who own one - does it support transfer of ordinary data files in addition to music? I've seen a program called iOrganzier, which works on Macs, but what about for Windows?
> Has anyone tried using the USB2 connector successfully?
I use it now, I had a firewire cable but it died... I got a USB + Firewire combo. Firewire is for charging, and USB to connect. Works exactly the same as Firewire.

Urgh. Not only are they crap, they actually disintegrate if you have music too loud, they begin to crackle. Get some decent Ear/Headphones, listen to music with them, and then stick the Apple ones back in. Baaad.
2) It came with free cool lazy engraving which i duly rejected.
3) The earphones are 50/50- amazingly good considering the bad reviews. Unbelieveably crystal clear melody, singing, bass, etc. However their ability to shut out external noise is apalling. So if you're in the quiet of your own home or the car or something, then use the Pod 'phones. If you want to go with it out and about, then get a pair of Sony's in-ears or Sennheiser out-ears. Plus the shiny white buds are a mugging magnet.
Don't know much about the computery side. I use a mates mac.
:)
So really you need a Mac to fulfil it's potential.

In that case, theres's some weird proportional things going on with the piture. I'm spooked out.

Hehe, it's not as big as the picture shows really. It's about 6 inch3.
Still rather big for an MP3 player, but you should see the box for my Zen! It's fapping huge!
