I would agree as many have said, that t'is pricey, but for just over £200, it was worth it for me. As long as you've got minimum interest of 12.5 gb of music, then the iPod is the best of the mp3 jukeboxes.
Don't ass around with a mini, cos you may aswell buy a flash stick player and then rotate what's on it. Overpriced for being miniature and only 4 gig.
MP4 is quite crappy, of what i've seen of it. A better compression method is needed.

It'd be months before I could afford one anyway.
ANd, at that time, it's Christmas rush time, which = many games.

Please, don't start that again.

The exact same with me until the 4th Gen came out with the fixed battery.

Mine's never crashed, ever.
The reason it's overpriced is exactly the same as the PS2, it's popular and people think that its automatically the best thing on the market. For £10 more than the 20GB iPod you get 3x the storage space with the ZEN. It's the brand name that's selling it, everyone refers to HD MP3 players as iPods...
And the fact that you can't replace the battery is the problem, sure you can play it using the mains, but why waste all that money when you've got a PC that can do that for you?
ZENs aren't much bigger anyway, plus they fit in your pocket fine, why does it need to be any smaller?
Fact: My ZEN has more porn on it than music.
:P
So... Yeah. It would be longer than your 8 hour shift...
So... Yeah.
