Well, I'm in Russia, on a 100mbps LAN setup. I am also now a regular, yay!

Jet lag is overcome, alcohol is nice. Food is horrible, but edible. Had no water in the apartment this morning and no phone lines about 2 hours ago, heh. Not done much, but seen horses and carts on the road as well as luvly oldie cars, heh.

It's an entirely new culture and really good experience!

I still have 2 bottles of the vodka at home but just can't drink it, it's harsh stuff and after getting drunk every night for a week on it I just couldn't handle anymore after getting back. It's great for giving to my mates and watching classic expressions on their faces when they try it though :). You didn't say, whereabouts in Russia are you?

Whereabouts in Russia are you? I went to Moscow about 18 months ago and loved it, espiecally the half litre bottles of Vodka that cost 80p. I also loved the sheer amount of beautiful women who looked as if they had just walked off the front of a magazine, shame hardly anyone spoke english :(. It was like -15C when I went though, so pretty cold.

Hardly anyone smiles in that place because they don't have much to look forward to.
