Two games being made, both of them based on the greatest movies ever made. Personally I don't think that they will be anything special. Just want to know what everyone else thinks.

What! The Godfather Part II is widely considered to be better than the first one and saying that it is crap is outrageous. Part III was lacking a little but it is better than a lot of people give it credit for.

Yeah, it'll probably be rubbish, as are most film-to-game spin-offs.

As a plot it wouldn't be a rip-off.
With a game engine similar to VC it would.

The bad thing about this is that many people, especially youngsters, won't have watched Scarface and it could lead to a lot of ignorant people claiming Scarface to be a rip off of Vice City. Hopefully not though. I have a feeling that it would make me very angry.

Probably, unless they've been working on it, the engine, for a while and have aquired the best licence for the type of game the engine's made for.
If they want to make a franchise out of it then a quality engine would be the way to start.

Probably the latter, making sports game i would say is there strong point, but making a game like this needs alot of time, they'll rush it and make a poor job im guessing.
