Here's the deal - I bought me one of those 30GB Creative Zen Jukebox MP3 players from work last week (complete with FREE Travelsound speakers, woo) for about £210. I'm very much enjoying having my entire music collection in my pocket, even if I did nearly mess it all up by dropping it on a running machine today. Whoops.

Anyway, I'm in the process of copying all my miscellaneous music CDs onto my PC, then my Jukebox, but I'm having trouble with the ID3 tags, in that the Jukebox software isn't recognising them. I can rip the album to WMA through Windows Media Player and it'll recognise the track name, artist, album and genre, but when I open the software to transfer it to the player, it only displays the track name, leaving all the other fields as unknown. This means that if I actually want to know what a track is, I have to fill in all the fields manually. Most annoying (even more annoying is where sometimes it recognises all fields, but on one track only - grrrr).

Any ideas? Something to do with ID3 tags? I've no idea, but I've got about 110 more albums to add to my 200 odd on the jukebox, and I'll be darned if I'm typing it all out manually.

Definitely. It's palm-sized, no taller than a mobile, a little wider than a packet of fags and less thick than a packet of polos.

Snuggly, I'm looking into MP3 players (mine went kaput) and I just need to know, is the 30GB Creative Zen Jukebox small enough to take jogging?

That's because you're a mug who bought an iPod.

and/or

You're a mug who's using Apples rubbish software.

It's your own fault really.

For me, the track's title in iTunes doesn't come up on my MP3 player - I need to change the file's name itself. Tried that?

Download dbPowerAmp and use that to rip albums to MP3.

That also fills in all the song details on the ID3 tag for you.

Try that, it works for me.

Otherwise it's your computer/your software, not the box.
