According to this morning's news the store's owner has been charged with manslaughter and a number of security gaurds arrested in connection to allegations that they were ordered to lock the doors to prevent people escaping with goods they hadn't yet paid for (and their lives).

Must say that was exactly what I heard a couple of days back.
