The guy's a greedy genius...
Top man. Was probably time he left though.
Foreman, we'll see.

Carling Cup winners last season.
Players bought:
Hasselbaink
Viduka
Reiziger
Parlour
All great signings which means the team looks like this:
GK Shwarzer
DL Queudrue
DR Reizeger
DC Southgate
DC Ehiogu
ML Zenden
MR Mendieta
MC Juninho
MC Boateng
ST Hasselbaink
ST Viduka
If they can manage to win the Carling Cup with the weakest strikeforces in the Premiership, then what will they do now they have one of the best?

Smith is a young player who improves with each season... Alex spotted that and will train him up. Ol' Alan Smith will rule one day.
Keane 16 in 35 + 3
and keane was your top striker last season, and his strike rate was only just better than hasselbainks, who was in a rotation system and so couldn't build form as well.
If hasselbaink wasn't very good last season (and lets say i'll agree) what does that say about spurs! in probably his worst season at the club, he has matched spurs top striker for ages!.
Hasselbaaink will thrive next season, he is a player who needs to play every match and have constant striker partner and this is what he will get at boro and he will rule.

The same football you have. He used to be good, but recently (last 2 seasons) he's been poor. Certaiinly not the 'saviour' you're all hailing him as 'cos he's gone to Boro.
Feel free to quote this at me when he scores 30 odd next season :p

But scored more goals for Leeds than Alan Smith.

WTF?!?!?
Alec, what football have you been watching for the past 5 seasons?
