rollocks, we have champs league football, infinitely more tv revenue than you, rich fans, and sell out crowds every week. We have some of the largest non playing assets around, if roman left tomorrow we would be in an infinitely better position than spurs even with the wage bill. as we have no debts and huge turnover.

Technically, you have no money at all. No savings cos you were in debt, Roman paid it off, but he didn't give you any more money that you didn't spend. Sure, he gives you money when you need it, but technically that's isn't the clubs money until he gives it to you, and he only gives you waht you need, which you spend days later.

No matter how much Spurs think they're a big club worthy of having a pretty much completely foreign team, they just aren't. They should learn that the way up the table is to buy english so you have a stable base and then dip into big name foreigners every now and again. Of course the signing of Santini won't help this, but I'm sure this traditional idea still applies for a club like you rotters :D
