After hearing one of thier newer songs I went back to the old good'ens like Just A Day and Buck Rogers and they're still sublime.

Yes, I'm 'clearly a racist', as my tagline would suggest...although you clearly have no idea of the backstory.

This topic had me reaching for Polythene again (imo their best album). My Perfect Day is, as you say, a brilliant song. I never really thought their other stuff reached the heights of this album. Insomnia was good, Come Back Around just about saved the new album. But Echo Park was pretty poor I thought - 7 Days and Buck Rogers? What a load of toss!

Got my hands on High (which is quite good) and Seven Days In The Sun which I have heard before, only average though.

Well I really knew nothing about them and they are the only songs I know from them. :) But still from what I have heard they're ruddy brilliant Buck Rogers not as good as Just A Day.

bah catchy, might be cheesy but we'll forgive them due to general quality so they can get away with it!

Seven Days In The Sun is so bad it could be Busted song.
