Where were these calls when his negative tactics cost us Euro 2004? You know, stuff actually related to football, what he's payed to do. I personally couldn't give a toss what he does in his personal life, sleep with Ulrika, sleep with this new woman. sleep with a bloomin sheep for all i care, all that bothers me is that he does his best and takes England to glory (an impossible task i know)
So why exactly is there more outrage about him getting his leg over then when he basically screwed England's chances
My point was that the media follow the FA, so if the FA pass comments about Sven's future because of extra curricular activities, it'll be front page. If they voiced concerns over him because we haven't had any real success, then that would be front page. However, since the FA don't think he hasn't provided success because of his "golden losses record"....

Wasn't actually the question i asked, the question was why is there more public outrage at him boffing his assistant then there was when his horrible tactics cost us Euro 2004? You know the stuff actually related to football?
Strange old country we live in.

Quite simply cos he's "the best" we've got. That's according to those oh so important loss stats. The FA are clearly not going to make changes unless he starts a collumn in The Sun called Sven's Adventures.

Personally I don't give a toss either, he can jump who he likes. As long as his playing the field isn't compromising his decisions in his job. Depends where is attention his focused.

VERY VALID POINTS ..... Ok, he didn't write THAT exactly

I'm with you on this Ben, someone answer the mans question!
...I feel obliged to answer it myself though; when we went out of Euro 2004, I was 20% convinced that Sven should go. When he had this affair; for some reason, I feel morelike 60% that he should go. And like you've said, it's purely un-football related.
...maybe it's because I'm jealous that he's such a stud at an old age...
Nobody really cares if he is banging some chick or not, as long as he gets the right kind of results.
