Just tried those Fruity Smarties.
They're eactly the same as Skittles but really frustrating...that's right, not fun but frustrating.
If there's a flavour you're not keen on, it's bound to be every colour you pick out of the pack.

I don't like them. I think there is only 1 that tastes acceptable - the rest just taste like sweat.

What happened was, they were going to make them like the original smarties, but softer, fruitier and chocolat-less. Then they got all the flavour and colourings mixed up :p and went and sold them anyway as a gag.
Smarties arn't meant to be without chocolate. There is no reason for them to be called Smarties whatsoever. I demand they change it's name.
I like them.. however they are kinda sickly if you eat many.. Simple solution dont eat to many..
Indeed, whoever thought that making sweets like russian roulette needs a round or 6 of the aforementioned game

I actually like these fruity smarties whereas I dont like skittles.
My theory is that they are all rejects from the smarty factory.
