Theres a little sparrow in my garden and I dont know what to do with it, i've shut my dog indoors because he keeps trying to kill it. The birds 'Family' know their baby is there but I dont think they can pick it up and there are some other birds that look bigger and I think they're going to eat it!
What should I do?!

Put some rubber/latex gloves on and return it to the nest if you can - that way your scent won't be on it.
Failing that, call the RSPB/RSPCA and wait for them to arrive while sniping the bigger birds.
