I remember all those "new technology" rumours of a new material allowing "250 Ghz". What happened to all of them? :-D

The question is, what's really to be done with all this power?
I've heard that online gaming plays big in MS and Sony's plans but I can't think of any other proper steps forward at the moment.

Nintendo seem to think otherwise... :-S

My choice of console will be dictated by the amount of RPG's on each. As long as the likes of Atlus, Nippon Ichi Software and Square-Enix (mostly the Enix part) stay loyal to the playstation so will i whether it has 4 gig processing power or 1

I always say I will wait, but as the time comes near I am sure I will try again to get one on Launch day, I hope there will not be too much time between the new X-Box being launched and the PS3, as I might slip especially if a Xmas appears between the 2 dates.

I wont be buying the PS3 straight away, the first ones they release will no doubt have issues with them. I too will probably avoid temptation and let it roll onto the market for a few months and then invest into one. However, it all seems to be coming along well, 4 ghz eh? bring it on.
