1) Get companies like Sega and Namco to make games. Akready Sonic and Pacman are available. Imagine 4 player bomerman over a phone in the future. And unlike the GBA, there is no need to add a modem type device- it's already on a phone!
2) Give development kits out for free. This increases the interest of developers, and will make sure there are far more games on offer than would otherwise be possible- I might even make a few by myself :). These games can be downloaded onto the phone using the web surfing ability on them.
Oh, and unlike WAP, these phones can view any website... I doubt they support Flash or other like programs, but who knows!
Finally, there is a typr of convergence happing with phones. Already phones with MP3 players are coming out... maybe in the future will will buy a Gameboy Future, that acts as a phone, plays MP3s and surf the web!

PS2 + DVD (+internet???)
Phone + GB + MP3 player + internet
What next I wonder? Well, next will be consoles being completely online... but only when HDTVs come in!

You’d be surprised at just how many people play Snakes on a daily basis. It has poor graphics, poor sound, but the gameplay is what makes it such a good game. It’s one of the most addictive game I have ever played and yet it is just so simple.
Also, with some mobile phones being able to surf the net, that brings a whole different ability to play games on your phone. You could download them straight to your phone without paying a penny.
It’s only a matter of time people and when it comes I predict it will be very successful indeed!
I remember seeing dodgy compilation ones at a time when I saw posters for the re-release of the Suggs album with a white, instead of yellow, cover.
> Pah...nice post Sonic...what a load of rubbish!

Definately! The draw back with most technology issues is that they are too expensive and not advanced enough to make people want to buy them. Minidiscs are a great example. Initially MiniDiscs were launched, but had poor recording and degraded sound. About a year later they were re-released as MDs, and had all the best features.
Reminds me of 3D0 and a few others too!

PS What is cybernet????????
Good post. If cybernet could make that point like you, instead of wasting loads of time and showing the thing on a million different episodes, and not keeping thoroughly up to date with the technology... He know's he's right next to the damn Eiffel tower, it's right behind him. Aaaarrghhh.
Go take over cybernet.
