Pizzonia at the front, also advantage Baumgartner
Antonio Pizzonia has taken pole position for the British Grand Prix, his first career pole position. It was a key pole position for Renault as they have been slipping a little in form and picking up the odd points.
It's also advantage Baumgartner in the title race as he once again puts his car on the front row. It could have been even better but he equaled Pizzonia's time but had to settle for 2nd as Pizzonia was first to get his time in.
The main threat to Baumgartner's Championship lead will probably come from Ralf Schumacher, who has been struggling recently, but he will start 6th and needs to get ahead of Baumgartner. Villeneuve and Salo will need to rely on a mistake up ahead as they start 13th and 14th respectively. The previous race winner, Fisichella, starts 4th.
