Antonio Pizzonia has taken pole position for the British Grand Prix, his first career pole position. It was a key pole position for Renault as they have been slipping a little in form and picking up the odd points.
It's also advantage Baumgartner in the title race as he once again puts his car on the front row. It could have been even better but he equaled Pizzonia's time but had to settle for 2nd as Pizzonia was first to get his time in.
The main threat to Baumgartner's Championship lead will probably come from Ralf Schumacher, who has been struggling recently, but he will start 6th and needs to get ahead of Baumgartner. Villeneuve and Salo will need to rely on a mistake up ahead as they start 13th and 14th respectively. The previous race winner, Fisichella, starts 4th.
Pizzonia will start in 1st with Baumgartner, the in form driver, alongside in 2nd. Raikkonen is much better placed to score points after a stunning driver in France and starts 3rd in Britain. Fisichella backs up his win in France with 4th on the grid. Heidfeld will be wanting to get Sauber off the bottom of the Constructors Championship with a few points from 5th. Ralf Schumacher will want to get ahead of Baumgartner to cut the gap, he'll start 6th. Verstappen continues to qualify consistently and start 7th and Coulthard makes up the top 8, helping McLaren.

Not as close at the front as previous years with only the top 3 within a tenth of each other. Can anyone stop Baumgartner? Find out on Wednesday!
Hopefully, like the actual Button did in Germany on Sunday, we'll see a result! There's a good chance of points anyway, but as Alan Ball once said:
'I'm not a believer in luck, but I do believe you need it!'
=D

Everyone is equal in this Championship and I run it through a game and post the results. Harmless fun. You are quite welcome to pick a driver and join us. Bare in mind that I like to know if anyone is reading it as I do use a bit of my time. There are ways to show that mainly by just posting and following your drivers progress.
