The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
This is a domain I bought ages ago, initially designed a little site but then got bored and did something else. Now I've decided I want to make a proper go of it, it's going to be an online reviews database, with reviews and features written by me and people I know, with the ability to sign up for a username, post comments and add your own little reviews.
Obviously it's still in the design stage at the moment, and there's only two pages to it (half-finished ones at that) but you can see it's taking shape slowly, and what it'll look like eventually when it's done. I'd appreciate any input you lot have about design, functionality, cool features etc.
If anyone wants to write reviews for the site and have them posted as editorials, then a) make sure you can write proper and b) e-mail me at aligray at freeola dot com and let me know. There's some good writers on these boards so hopefully with your help it should take off as a moderately succesful little reviews site.
Oh, and it's best viewed in IE (as in I have tested it in any other browsers).
Edit: In fact, 'half-finished' doesn't even cover it, they're barely started! But you get the jist of it, right? RIGHT?

Yeah, but everything looks tiny at 1280 x 1024. It looks fine in 1024 x 768, if a little bare at the moment, but I don't really have the content to fill it up.

My monitor hardly supports 800 x 600 anyway.
Christ knows how people use that res.
*Shakes fist*
EDIT: Although that'll probably ruin the look of the sidebar.
Makes a change from your standard black/white with occassional flourishes of colour.
But it looks awful in 1152x864. It's like, away in the corner.
And it's fine in Firefox by the by.
