But it shouldn't. I was into AoEII from the start. And found it fun even after non stop playing for about 2 and a half years. AoM just wasn't fun.

Why has it? AoM is a top game. It just takes a little time to get used too.

And AoEIII best not be 3d. However much better it is than 2D, it completely ruined AoM.

I never played age of Mythology, but I saw so many negative reviews that I was put off- plus, it just didn't seem right playing off ancient myths against each other. I only hope that AoE III will be impressive- I want it to be worth the wait. =D

Yeah. I tried out the demo of AoM and i really didn't like it. So waiting from basically the release date of AoE II to the release dat of AoEIII is a female dog.

The problem is that very little detail has been released as yet. But all you have to do is be patient; It's all about waiting.

Patience is a virtue, but waiting around is right bu66er.

Yes, I was the lunatic who got it through Gameaday. I await sectioning.

No release date as yet, but it's supposed to be out by March 2005. It's supposedly titled 'The Age Of Discovery', as I've already said, and set somewhere around 1600-1900. Note that down, so you don't have to keep asking me about it every time it comes up in a conversation.

I'm personally anticipating Age of Empires III: The Age Of Discovery. I've already got a preorder down; now comes the very long wait. GTA San Andreas may also be a good bet, but it seems like the series it getting slightly overcomplicated, something that has killed franchises in the past. Football Manager 2005 is also something I may well get- it looks good compared to CM 03/04, and with SiGames making it, you can't think negatively.
