And to disagree with Snuggers, I wouldn't buy The Man Who Wasn't There - the Coens don't only make great films - and I'd describe McCool's as a watch-once-only film (though possibly worth having for the Liv Tyler getting a bit wet scene.)
If you haven't got Se7en, buy it. Now.
Why not get Dark City as your third film? It's an amazing piece of film noir/sci fi and when you have watched it, you'll see how it's influenced many films in the genre.

I'd recommend Happiness, but then I remembered it's the most thoroughly depressing, emotionally crippling film I've ever seen. Most certainly not fun for all the family (don't watch if you have kids in the same room, for God's sake).
Fox + Jackson easily beat Willis + Gilliam. ;D
