'MASSIVE ALLIANCE RAID AT XR!!'


I turned up a minute later with 2 friends, there were four Alliance players running around by some hills, so we went over and killed them. I took some screenshots.


Then they rezzed 1 by 1 at different intervals and kept running about, so they kept dying.


This NE called Gust, must have taken him about 90 minutes to get out of the Barrens, after his inital attack he was trying to run back to Ratchet for the boat to Booty Bay, but he kept getting pwned on the way. Eventually he got back on the boat, as a corpse.

I picked off 10 NE in Ashenvale today, then 4 level 30-32 NE arrived (I was 27 at the time) and killed me. They then corpse camped me a further two times, so I put a yell of 'alliance corpse camping at splinter', by the time I got back to my body there were 15 Horde standing over four dead Alliance bodies.


I hate bloody Paladins though, I cain the crap out of them in 10 seconds, but as soon as their hp reaches 1 they become invulnerable and get fully healed, and then my energy is low and I have to build up combo points again. IT will be easier when I have kidney shot, then I can stun them just before they reach critical hp, and kill them before it wears off.

I started a raid and got a whopping 30 players together. Then they all started acting like idiots and aggro'ing late level 20 monsters and we all died and everyone gave up, morons.

HeHe, I did actually see a fairly big Alliance raid on the crossroads last night, about 20 of them in all, a slightly bigger group of horde players gathered up at the entrance and just charged at them. Alliance scattered and decided to run back home, with the horde right behind them picking off those too slow to out run the chasing Orcs, Trolls, and taurens.

Funny thing was, some of the dead players went back to retrieve their bodies, and resurrected right in front of the Horde party as it was returning.

I'm still only a level 16 though so I can't do much damage, but it's fun getting involved in these kinds of fights, even your overall input to them isn't that great.

I got my ass pounded but it was amazing to see them just coming and coming.

*sigh*

I think the good thing about WOW is that you can play it as much as you like or in moderation and it suits both types of players well. I'm enjoying it at the moment but I'm not spending every minute on it because I usually get bored with games when I play them far too much. But I must admit this is the best online RPG I've played in a long time, makes Galaxies look pants. Plus the fact that it accepts UK payment options like Solo and Switch as well as PayPal support coming soon I can see a lot more UK gamers being tempted.

There is no objective, it's completely and utterly endless, it lasts however long you want it to last. Perhaps the only game you’ll find that really does offers complete 100% freedom as to how you play it.

Yeh, the first few hours with hardly any moves and special abilities gets a tad boring.
