Well a card game came to mind as it involves charachters so an obvious connection would be to turn MIST regulars into card game charachters. To make it universally appealing (an commercially viable) it woul have to be a game. If Top Trumps are still popular then it could be that simplistic ( I also have a pack of Dr Who Top Trumps - v. easy to play) but if the market requires a more complex fantasy type card game then it would be best to go for that.
I quite like the idea of collectable ones free with each mag. But that could take forever and people could lose interest. Also will it be profitable (sorry it bring cost into it but that is all part of it). We could sell them in packs of 5 like the football cards? (sticketr book as well?) But better still to sell them as a complete game with expansion packs being realised as and when.
As for enough people - good point. We would have to see how it took off. And promote the site heavily. Maybe advertise the idea of a game else where and say that if you want to be in it you have to be a regular.

It may be easier... and cheaper to flesh the majority of the game out in the MIST forum?...
I've got the time at the moment to surf the net for info... also it means I can stick an 'extra activity' onto my C.V... which is never a bad thing! :)
