...me and my brother are planning in investing in Crazy Taxi. Which at no more than £45 isn't too much of a problem. The console however is a problem. I own an Nintendo 64 as you all know. But, as you also know, Crazy Taxi won't be appearing on the Nintendo 64. I am getting a Gamecube, but I'll be damned if I am waiting that long before I own crazy Taxi.
I also want Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast) but don't want to missout on MGS2. If I get a PS2 I will have to wait nearly as long as I will for the Gamecube for MGS2 but Not Crazy Taxi. I do like Dreamcasts and it would only cost me about £55 to get one with Crazy taxi but I do like the idea of being able to play MGS2, GT3, Crazy Taxi and DOA2.
The question is this...
Do I get a DC with Skies of Arcadia and Crazy Taxi?
The pros of this is that I get to play MSR, CT, SOA, DOA2 and all the other DC classics...The cons are that the DC will not have games for it a year from now and I would like it to last longer than that.
The second option is to invest in a Playstation 2 and get Crazy Taxi, GT3 MGS2, etc.
The Pro's of this is that I have an up-to-date, PS2, Some good Games, SSX, CT, MGS2 (Eventually) and GT3 the cons are that it is about £300 for the console and Crazy Taxi.
Of course Crazy Taxi 2 will be out before we know it but only for the DC (Or so I am told). I really dont' know what to do so I am seeking all of your advice.
I would like sensible answers and reasons if you could take some time out to help.
PS2 or DC - CT and MGS2 or CT and CT2 and SOA?
I really am stuck!
Thanks in Advance

Oh Right!!
Have a look in the new post FOG wars!
Also, MGS2 is a PS2-ONLY game. That's confirmed by the master-Hideo Kojima.

Apparently there'll be no games for DC after March 2002... from Sega, anyway.
This from http://www.planetdreamcast.com
March 2002 - The End Of Dreamcast?
It appears so, my friends. The Magic Box has posted a comment from Sega of Japan. The company has stated that 65 Dreamcast games will be released this fiscal year, but they will stop production of Dreamcast titles in March of 2002. Though we haven't seen an official press release yet, nor heard a statement from Sega of America, I guess you don't have to believe it if you don't want to. But, I'd say that this source is usually very reliable.
It saddens me to post this news item. But there you have it. It all has to end some time, I suppose. But luckily, we can look forward to plenty of Sega games on other platforms. And you can bet that we here at PlanetDreamcast will cover anything and everything Dreamcast until the very end.
