I have an older sister and she is 18, but she has the maturity level of a 10 year old. And i can't bloody stand it. She's ignorant too, she thinks she is going to grow up to be a millionaire, by doing journolism or design. Yet she failed all her a-levels, and has to stay back a year to re do them.

An example of her imaturity: Family was away for the weekend, and she said "dont let anyone go in my room" and i said "why would i let someone go in your room??" she replies, "because you would do something like that"... i then just blank her because of her annoying ignorance. So i had a few mates round, and one goes in her room to sleep, i didnt have any idea he had done, other wise i would of kicked him out.
So anyway, today she got back, i was out at the time. And i get back and she had put vasaline, hand cream, bread, this strange stuff, all over my bed sheets and 3 sticky notes each saying "i told you NOT to let any one go in my room"

That's the kind of thing I could see a todler doing in a temper tandrum because their mum wouldnt buy them a new barbie doll.

She is 18 (EIGHTEEN) it fudging p****s me off.

Also another thing, if she see's me with a girl when im out or at school or whenever, she will pull faces and go "oooo, is this your girl friend" like in primary school where if someone did something wrong you go "ummmmmmm im telling!" I just tell her to get a life. Or just blank her, i like to blank her because it jsut makes her look like an attention seeker.
But then my 11 year old brother will do it to her, and then she says "oh grow up you fat b*stard"

There are many other cases which show her imaturity... ask if you want me to tell some stories.

Does anyone else suffer from this desiese - "immature older sister"?

I was actaully comparing her to a townie, and she does fit the description. She even starts to talk like one when she's in an argument.

I can see why she'd be pi**ed off at you letting your mates sleep in her bed, especially after she specifically asked you not to.

Screw whether you knew or not, they're your friends, it's your responsibility to control them.

As for being immature.. assuming it's just 'regular' immaturity, heh, I guess you'll just have to wait for her to grow out of it.

You might want to help things along by politely pointing out when she acts like a child. Try to do it without causing a lot of fuss though - I'd be afraid you'd report it back to the forums and I'd have to read more of this s**te

Oooohhh, disease...

I'm the oldest - of two - in the Family. Does she actually have a condition which makes her immature or is she just immature out of choice?

I knew someone from school who was incredibly immature - but it wasn't his fault, he was just...slow.

Condition or not, if my Sister smeared my bedroom with vaseline and what-not, I'd punch her right in the face*

*probably substitute for something less violent
