I Used to stay with my rock and indie, and a bit of more mainstream stuff like tupac and dre, but i have found my self listening to increasingly more Rap and hip hop to supplement my fine tastes over the last few months. Been listening to a bit of DMX and Ludacris, some of outkast's non hey ya kinda stuff. Basically i like things that flow well and have quality basslines.

can anyone Reccommend me some good artists/tracks?

thanks

Rule 2 of listening to Rap and Hip Hop, stay away from anything by 50 cent and anything that has chumps repeatedly saying G-G-G-Unit. Lloyd Bank's solo stuff is pretty decent though.

Oh and also stay away from Camron and any of those dip set freaks.

Good tracks to check out would be...

Redman - Smash Sumthin
Redman + Method man - Da Rockwilder
Jay Z - Big Pimpin
Mark Ronson feat. Ghostface + Freeway - Oooh Wee
Talib Kweli - Put it in the air
Pharoah Monche - F*** you
Eminem - If I get locked up

Best 10 albums, which if all bought give a hell of a lot of variety:
Common Sense - Ressurection
Kanye West - College Dropout
Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystle
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
Slick Rick - The Great Adventures of Slick Rick
Method Man & Redman - Blackout
2Pac - Better Dayz
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
Nas - Illmatic

or particular tracks worth listening to. There is quite a

Ok someone recommend me something.

I like it to sound a bit underground and have quite iteligent rhyming.

Only stuff I like at the moment is some stuff by some stuff by Dialated Peoples like Caffiene, Simon Says by Pharoahe Monche, Oh No by Nate Dogg, Monche, Mos Def and thats about it.

Grandmaster Flash :-P

House of Pain - Jump Around :-P

Maybe by that first stuff you can see where I'm coming from in terms of how stuff sounds.
