I saw the first half goals on skysports news, best of them I think was when Van Persie guided a brilliant long pass towards Reyes, he controlled the ball, spun round the defender and guided the ball into the left hand corner with the outside of his left foot.

Apparently van Persie was class. Peeved we didn't snap him up quicker now.

True it is pre season and that it doesn't matter about the result its all about giving our new signings, youths, reserves and first team a run out before the new season and from what I've heard Van Persie has a class left foot. But even then it does show that we are looking forward to the new season and I can see Reyes can't wait either..

A full strength Barnet side should be no competition whatsoever for Arsenal. And this wasn't a full strength Barnet side.
