It was my dad's fault, he kept buying stuff and then changing his mind and ignoring the seller's e-mails.

Now that i'm suspended I cant look at the items i've bought, items i've sold etc. and I cant even leave feedback!

At the moment i'm waiting for two cheques to come and two items to come and I cant leave feedback for any of them.

How long will I be suspended for?

Ah. Some revenge.

Any chance of a link or paraphrased version of this story?

That's true. It's so very annoying when you sell something to someone because you need some cash and the money never comes.

Did you see the genius post from cookie monster around a month ago about the guy selling the Powerbook (I think) who tricked a con artist? It was genius.

Lucky b*stards...

The place is a shambles from my experience. Everything I've bought has either been faulty or different to the description given. When questioning the seller, they're about as easy to deal with as a brick wall and just ignore my e-mails eventually.

And what do eBay do? Nothing. The hilarious thing is that the other day (I still use it for selling), they removed my listing for a GameCube Action Replay as an illegal mod tool. Well done, eBay. Not only can you do nothing when I need you, but you get what little justice you try to enforce utterly wrong.

They have ignored my e-mails of protest - which point them clearly in the direction of numerous other Action Replay listings, and I have now lost the fees I paid on that auction. Eurgh... the similarities between them and the con artists I've dealt with are so shocking they could even be in league together.

People who get tricked just lack common sense.

The last two items I bought from Ebay were £800 and £450 and I made sure I did some serious checking before I stumped up the cash.

I'm happy with ebay.
Only once bought something crappy, apart from that, it's all good.

T'is the same for me, not once have I been dissapointed when buying/selling over eBay yet I hear about people supposedly being "tricked" all the time.
