Never posted in here before, but just though it might be interesting to see what people thought of the two highest scorers in the French League coming to the Prem. Who's gonna score more?

I'd say young Djibril, but mainly because I'm a Liverpool fan. Drogba, IMO, will be a flop. Anyone?

That's a tad generous. I'd choose Giuliano Grazioli over him any day down at Underhill.....

He can have No 9 at Crewe Alexandra.

I already knew that and I'm not a liverpool fan. I hope they give him shirt number 44 or something like that.

Baros should stay. As if Sinima Pongolle will get a place, and Diouf is hopefully on his way to Villarreal or somewhere equally dire.

I hate Diouf. It was my prime worry that when Cisse arrived at Anfield that Diouf would keep the No 9 shirt that he has no right to. Thankfully, it's been given to The Djibril. And Stevie's finally been given No 8.

Diouf has no squad number :)

Incidentially, for the person who I was chatting to about Pro Evo - another legend is Maniche. Before Porto started their run in the Champs League and he scored -that- goal, I knew Maniche was a legend, just because he's got supreme stats on Pro Evo 3. He's almost as good as Figo, better than Rui Costa, Nuno Gomes et al.

I edited Liverpool (Merseyside Red on Pro Evo) to include Cisse and Maniche about 6 months ago. Hamann and Heskey were sacrified. The only thing that could make me happier than Maniche going to Liverpool would be the one and only Joe Cole going to Liverpool, heh.

Think Cisse will be in the top 3 goalscorers this season, maybe alongside Drogba...Even tho im a Liverpool fan i think that it would be a close battle but im going for Cisse. Even tho im sick of hearing every single good player linked with Chelsea and their constant spree for players is doing my head in, i would like to see Drogba in the Premiership along with a few others Chelsea are linked with

P.S. Liverpool to finish 3RD with some silverware...Hopefully

Barca have given up on Baros. Liverpool will have Owen, Cisse, Baros, Diouf and Sinima Pongolle fighting for places. Hopefully Benitez wont take any crap from Cisse, and wont let the players walk all over him like Houllier did.

Some players perform best under pressure. Jimmy Floyd and Eidur both played better knowing they were fighting for a place. Crespo didn't really and look where he is now....

As Don said, Cisse will have more of a chance, but then again less pressure on him. There will be huge pressure on Drogba to perform as he will be part of a rotation system. At Liverpool, it looks as if it will just be Cisse and Owen.
