I don't know if anyone else watches all these Police Chase Videos on Sky but I watch them all the time. I was wondering if there's any chance that these videos may be available to buy on DVD, perhaps on import from America. So if anyone knows where I could possibly get them, I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

I love the endings to the clips as well when he says stuff like

*this crazy motorist after taking policemen on a wild chase took a wrong turn ....... straight into a squad car and straight to jail*

In the video I saw last night it didn't actually show the guy being shot. But you could hear the gun shots and it didn't take a genius to figure out what happened. I also remember watching a chase from the San Diego PD's records; some nutter stole a tank and was driving it down the freeway, and around small streets. The guy wouldn't surrender when he crashed the tank so the police had no choice but to take him out. So although they don't actually show anyone being shot, they still show clips where there have been fatalities. And yes, John Bunnell is brilliant, if a little over enthusiastic at times.

They're hardly going to show people getting killed are they? It's a reality show, not a movie. When someone gets gunned down in a hail of bullets they don't get up after the director yells cut and then go have a cup of tea with the actors who've just unloaded a clip into his ass.

Imagine all the complaints from the soccer mom's and do gooders if when watching the show over their cornflakes when they see Billy Criminal get shot to pieces by an over-enthusiastic cop. Maybe on the DVD release but not on the actual show :-D

Does that Sherriff John Bunnell or whatever his name was still appear on them? He was hilarious. I've spent many an evening laughing at his comments.

Not entirely true. I watched one tonight and some guy went crazy with a pistol. The idiot ran at the cops waving the gun around and was gunned down.

But it's mainly the car chases I like. If I was brought up in America I would undoubtedly be a Highway Patrolman, it must be the most interesting job in the world.
