"what is the best RPG ???"

me and my friend cannot agree on the best RPG out there. I said Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 was for definate but he said Star wars Knights of the old republic was a class game. we couldnt decide which was the better of the two so im intrested to see what others think is the best RPG,FF10 or Star wars KOTOR or any others you think

Shenmue 1 and 2 are the best Rpg's that i have ever played. They are very challenging games and there is alot of different things to do in the game.

I find Shenmue 2 the best and the most challenging. It took me 5 days to complete and it just kept me gripped. The more i achieved through the game the more i wanted to continue.

However i think its time to try something new. As i always mention Shenmue.

You comparing between FFX and KoToR?

I'd say the character devlopment is quite good actually. Each member has his/her/its own side quest if you talk to it enough.

If Zelda:Oot counts then it's the best (because I've heard mags calling it an RPG but I've never considered it to be one) but I think FFVII. I HATED the shere grid on FFX and FFV was really good aswell.
