Yes it seems that in an attempt to keep Rooney at the Toffee's, David Moyes is going to make youngster Wayne Rooney the club captain.
In my oppinion this is stupid! He's 18 for god's sake, no age to be captain of a team!

He actually said he wants to make him captain "within a few seasons" but I agree, yes, that it is a desperate attempt not only to salvage support from Rooney to stay, but from the fans. Its so obvious that captaining the side he loves is going to be some kind of a factor.
