Don't take McDonalds to court because you're a fat piece of lard, at least do something that benefits everyone.

Why doen't one of you take an internet company to court that uses illegal spam to advertise their products?

I've just received another 30 emails with a few from companies who leave their full address and have blatently broken the "Can-Spam Act".

All it requires is just one of you to start it all off, then something might happen! Plus you can get rich like you do when you sue McDonalds...

*ends p!ssed off moment*

The EU already has an anti-spam law, just that they can't do stuff all with it.

Thankfully it's all died down now. The most annoying part of it, was the phoneline was really poor and I recieved several phone calls a day, that just went dead. Initial instinct - stalker.

I enjoy thier recation when i say these things though,
If they say you've been awarded 2000 pounds - before they can say off a new kitchen i stay screaming down the phone!

Yippppppe! I've won, i've bloody won 2000 pounds, then i start shouting random names;

Barry!!! I've won!!! I've won Barry! Yippppe!!!

Then i say, when are you going to send me the cash?

I'm waiting for another call today :)

There's a special list that you can sign up to which makes it illegal for people to phone you up to try and advertise stuff to you.

We signed up a few years back and we haven't got a single phone call like it.

I got this yesterday, and i say this everytime somebody wants to ask questions.

"Don't harves**t e-mail addresses or use automated means to randomly generate addresses," says the law...

OK, the email says that it's from an opt-in mailing lis**t, I'm jus**t baffled since when I've ever used sales[at]phi11ip[dot]com...

I really want to be in America now, I sooooo want to take someone to court and jus**t sue them for sh*t loads, jus**t to s**tart a new trend or something...

Oh yes! I've jus**t seen this:

"On or before October 1, 2004: Plan will be announced for rewarding people who help identify organizations and/or individuals who violate CAN-SPAM's provisions. The document will outline how violations are to be reported to the FTC, including an electronic submission option."

Roll on October! Hopefully Americans by the million will flood to make easy money then!

This is what happened the last time I got one of those phone calls:

Indian person: Hello, I am calling from...
Me: Sorry, I don't need any more of your slave children. Goodbye.

I don't think class actions are allowed in this country, every case has to be decided individually although the cases can be heard at the same time if they are to do with the same thing.

If I was in America I would do something because it's easy money.

I'm not however flying out there to do it.
