Imagine a Pokémon based RPG. You could play as Ash and have Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle to start off with. Then you could begin an adventure in the Johto Journeys. You could battle and complete tasks, help people, collect badges...Imagine all the best Pokémon games rolled into one. And of course you would have to catch Pokémon. You could also have to fend off team rocket...this would be a gamecube game so Imagine the FMV's and Cut-Scenes

You could take pictures for a retired Pokémon photographer, you could do anything, options would be almost limitless.

There is nothing to suggest that Johto Adventures couldn't be as successful as Final Fantasy. Amongst Pokémon fans anyway. You could use a Mario type engine to control ash and then switch to a Pokémon Satsdium engine to battle...

...Then you could go into Pokémon Snap mode to take the pictures of Pokémon, and you could also have a little icon bar or a icon pause-screen menu like in Zelda.

I think that if done correctly and properly the game could be a hit, the main principle might be like a Pokémon stadium Adventure where you travel to battle rather in one arena. But to get access to other places you might need to help other people out...

If you need to cross to another island you might need to persuade two enemies to help each other out by getting one to sell wood to another to fix his boat...

I don't suppose this will ever happen but it would be a sure hit...Imagine Final Fantasy, Pokémon Stadium, Mario 64 and Pokémon Snap rolled into one.....Great!

The examples given are only rough ideas but they could work....the principles behind them anyway.

And don't say "Not more Pokémon, we don't want another game" because if it weren't for Pokémon we might not have seen the Gamecube or GBA.

Pokémon: Johto Adventure - Classique!

The Game

Why don't you think of something original to post if you're gonna post messages more pathetic than my own!

I was just because they were saying to use a Mario 64 Pokemon Stadium hybrid...

Not the re-apply the Zelda engine for the actual game dev...

Probably. But the Zelda engine is much like a label to the game. I would actually expect Pokemon to get it's own engine.
