Your right about the improvement, i downloaded 2 gameplay videos, the veiws are the same and the graphics aren't much better, only difference will be new races and new courses. But I still think it will sell really well.

But I do think it will sell by the lorry load as it'll be the best racer to hit PS2 in along time. But personally I'd rather go for something like PGR3, Burnout 3, NFSU2 or Midnight Club 3.

But the masses want cosmetic damage AND mechanical damage. I honestly don't think GT4 will warrant a purchase as it doesn't look as though there's going to be enough improvement over GT3.

There is damage, ever since Gran Turismo 2, it slows your car down and makes it turn when you want to go straight. It is off by default, you have to manually turn it on. It phsycally shows no damage but when you drive you can tell.
