Anyone who lived through the first incarnation of Transformers (Now referred to as Transformers Generation 1) will know what I mean when I say that this little beauty is probably what we all wished the toys had been like in the first place.

Although, so far, the original die-cast Hasbro toys were the best, with the later series producing horrible plastic monstrosities, this newer collectable, based on the movie version, is pretty much perfect.

Roll Out!

But the price reflects this, and was the only thing preventing my hovering mouse cursor from clicking 'add to cart'. It's so perfect though.

Ah memories :D

I still have my football sticker albums from the mid 80's - early 90's as well as Beano and Dandy comics from about 1984 - 1994 odd.

Nice. But I haven't got a ToysRUs near me and I don't have £50. Otherwise I'd be off to get it like a shot...

He says phrases from the movie, and even has a working jaw/individual moving fingers.

How long before it sells out and becomes a £200+ buy on ebay?
