"Things are changin?!"

Men with toupeés are screaming from roof tops - and yes, they are once again.

Times change and we grow older and sometimes things re occur and then disapear for a while.

Why am I prattling on?

Because me and my family have just purchased two single duvet covers for my new room at university.

One - I have purchased them in single so i wont be sleeping in a double bed :'(

Two - TWO DUVET COVERS - meaning I have changed and making a statement as i usually just have sheets and a duvet none of this jus a duvet modern crapp.

When I return every odd weekend from uni my big room will no longer be my own - it will be my lil brothers and his will probably be painted identically to my room at the moment!

I will not have my boyfriend a stone throw away and even though I moving to a relatively close uni in comparison to the rest that do my course - it gonna be tough!

Now, yesterday evening my mate came aroun suprisingly and we went for a ride screaming at high speeds in the middle of country lanes only near hitting a mere three rabbits...

My other friend - we went to the pub and he showed me his flashing gear stick *coughs* and its just weird you know?

I have my driving test very soon - you can smell it how close it is. NOw this is something you cack your pants about all through childhood-but its happening

I am moving out - I aint using sheets no more and my friend has a flashing gear stick

AGHH!

Al this insane change is quick and though I am very excited about my life taking a new lead - i am scared absolutely pooless also.

I was remembering the days of when I walked around school with a rucksack that should of been built for the army a blazer big enough for marine and a fringe that could shield anyone from the backdraft of a nuclear explosion..

Done all my A levels - I am leaving sixth form and my friends - my family and bf for a new life in kingston.

Sh*t

x love ginge x

So are you actually going to Surrey Uni/UniS or whatever they call it these days?

I only ask because that's where my brother goes, and is currently doing a Business and Computing Degree.

My brother has been at Uni nearly a year now, and I was expecting him to hate it. He's had a tough life, my bro, and this has partly led him into quite an intravert character. He absolutely loves Uni, much more than school or sixth form, and I'm sure you will too. There will be times when you miss your family, but just remember, you can pick up the phone and they'll be more than willing to chat or do anything you want them to. Relax, enjoy it, it may well be the best couple of years of your life.

Good luck, there...

Looking at other people's flashing gear sticks is all part of growing up.

Or something.

You'll love Uni.
