I know how you feel about trying to do stuff on your own, took me ages to get the slightest bit of recognition for web development, I'm always "too young". and should "leave it to someone more experienced". Good luck with any future projects you take up though.
You give something your best shot. If it does not work you give up (after persevering) and try something else.

In answer to Reaper's question, I am switching between different FTP's (freeserve, telewest, dircon) uploading to different accounts, and trying my best, also when I try to get into CC I get a tiny part of the applet with just the send button visible...
