I don't get it/ them/ whatever.

Are they a band?

Isn't that a bloke singing?

So it's just a really very poor name for a band. It's not pleasant to say or hear, it's clumsy and awkward, and not to my liking.

All of their songs that I've heard are absolute crap, really very annoying stuff that gets way too much air-play.

The video's try to be 'zany' and I hate zany.

The lyrics are really very poor, and the voice really irritates me.

Please let them fall into obscurity.

I like them, plus they're 'pretty excellent' live.

I mean, I could compare it to other current pop music, but that too is mostly crap, it'd be a little pointless. It's crap floating in a sea of crap - in my opinion, and if the rest was even crapper, I wouldn't believe this to be any less crap....


Oh, and that's another thing the way they sing "Chamone" like as if they're Michael Jackson, for he is the only one allowed to sing that.

And I don't like the way they say Cincinati either.

Scissor Sisters is a NYC queer slang term for lesbians, referring to the...erm...appearence of the ladies' legs when engaged in the act of sexual congress. That's about as graphic as I can be and still avoid a warning I think...

I think they're ace. As pop music goes, it beats the hell out of 90% of the other anodyne pap that passes muster as pop. The whole "They're so outrageously gay!" thing seems to be purely about the marketing; gay, straight, or whatever, they make good music and that'll do for me.
