Round 10 of 18 brings us to France and with 9 different winners from the first 9 races, Salo finds himself with a 2 point lead and MG F1 with only a 1 point lead in the Constructors Championship. The Prediction Championship is not so close but a 12 point lead isn't so secure with the amount of races that are left.

http://www.freewebs.com/gpsr/srf1.htm for the current driver line up. Please check the site as not everyone I mention in the preview is racing this year!

Qualifying in France last year was tight amongst the earlier runners but not so tight when it started to drizzle. De La Rosa was among the early runners and was the only driver to break into the 1 minute 12's. He took pole position just ahead of Montoya's Williams.

Out of this year's current Championship leaders that raced last year, Ralf Schumacher started 4th, Button started 17th and Villeneuve started 19th. Those three are within 10 points of the leader this year.

The race was dry and Barrichello caused more accidents in this race than the entire year conbined as he ran lots of cars off the track. Montoya went on to benefit from a De La Rosa puncture to win ahead of Verstappen, who started 7th, and Fisichella, who started 5th.

Out of the 3 drivers with a sniff of the lead in the Championship that raced last year, Ralf Schumacher retired with wheel damage, Button and Villeneuve flew through the field to take 4th and 5th respectively.

Here is some more information that might be of some help:

Lap Records:
Qualifying: 1m12.976s - Yoong (Minardi) - Set in 2002
Race: 1m13.791s - Heidfeld (Sauber) - Set in 2003

Previous Winners:
2002 - De La Rosa (Jaguar)
2003 - Montoya (Williams)

Top 3 Qualifying last year:
1st De La Rosa (Senna G.P - Now MG F1)
2nd Montoya (Williams)
3rd Wilson (Minardi) NOT RACING THIS YEAR!

Top 3 Race last year:
1st Montoya (Williams)
2nd Verstappen (Minardi)
3rd Fisichella (Jordan)

Top 3 Drivers after Round 10 last year:

3rd Firman 34pts

Top 3 Constructors after Round 10 last year:
1st Renault 74pts
2nd B.A.R 68pts

Onto the prediction questions. Der Nazi holds a 12 point lead. Remember that you can't win if you don't enter and that some of the drivers racing last year are in this year's Championship!
