After about a 2 year leave-of-absence from Nintendo, and about an 8 month break from gaming altogether I made a comeback and bought a cube today. Smart choice, I know, since it was a mere £40, and I've been shooting zombies and cowboys all afternoon (I bought Timesplitters 2 and Resident Evil 3 with it).

Having been away for so long I'm wondering what's been happening in the Ninty world - what's been big and suchlike in the cube world - fill me in if you can.

I bought my Cube mostly because of the forthcoming Resident Evil 4 (which I've heard from importy people utterly rocks), but also because I was having withdrawal symptoms from gaming.

I'm kinda short on cash but I'm building a "stuff to buy" list, which so far contains:

- Resident Evil 4
- Resident Evil 1 and 0 (If anyone wants to sell me then name a price)
- That Donkey Kong Bongo thing

Any other recomendations would kick copious amounts of ass.

Thanks, glad to be a Ninty again.

Welcome back Kyz.
Do have not have any GC games at all now?

Recent godliness comes mostly from the likes of Pikmin 2, Metroid Prime 2 and Paper Mario.

Probably. £7 inc. P&P? Discs are a little scratched, but I only bought it off eBay to complete and did twice without any problems, so they work fine.

I think I remember buying my Resi 1 (remake) from gamestation for 4 quid pre-owned. Still got it now.

I got my Cube from GS and they didnt have any Resi's in. neither did CEX, Virgin or Game... shocking!

I'll be looking out for TS3 - its got a lot to live up to though. Best Multiplayer shoot-em-up ever though I think.

I saw Resi evil 1 at my local gamestation for 6 quid second hand but I don't know if you can find the same price.
Otherwise you have to get:

RPG's: Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia legends, Paper Mario 2 and Baten Kaitos which should be out in the easter period.
Platformer: Donkey Kong jungle beat (which comes with a extra pair of bongo's)
Shoot em ups:Timesplitters 3 when it's out and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
Sports: Mario Tennis (but only if you like tennis and have a couple of mates over)
Adventure: Metroid Prime/Echoes
Racing: F Zero GX (only if you like Racing games) and Mario Kart: DD of course (read Mario Tennis end thingy)
Fighting: Smash Brothers Melee and Soul Calibur 2
