In the sleep deprived state i've decided to create this poll for the top 100 posters only.
On this occassion this is a musical poll, i want your nomination for the best male voice, once you've voted your vote will be put beside your name, i'm not intending on counting unless i've got at least 70 votes, more polls will follow if this one takes off.
As for those not on the list below, feel free to join in.
And if you're stuck fo ideas i'll give some suggestions not already mentioned.
Marvin Gaye, Bruce Springsteen, Robert Plant, Liam Gallagher, Chuck Berry, Tom Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Dean Martin, Nick Cave, Luther Vandross, Jim Morrisson, John Lee Hooker, Scott Walker, Neil Young, Louis Armstrong, Smokey Robinson, Bob Marley, John Lydon, Bono, Carl Wilson, Rod Stewart, Bing Crosby, Brian Wilson, Pavarotti, David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Jackie Wilson, Al Green, Roy Orbison, Van Morrisson, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding as well as those listed below or come up with your own.

A sad, sad, sad day when Jon Bon Jovi is considered the greatest
singer of all time above Sinatra, Presley, Barry White, Stevie
Wonder, MJ...

By no means the greatest-of-all-time, but still an incredible vocalist: Corey Taylor (Slipknot and Stone Sour).

Emotive style, yes. Unforunately, he sounds like a drugged-up cookie monster at times. But he is incredibly versatile, so I have to agree with your point there.

Still, vote for David Coverdale! =D

I totally agree with Matty Boy - Freddie Mercury is the greatest male singer I've ever had the pleasure to hear.

townies is like another word for 'rudies' or 'rude-boys' e.g. drum n bass, gangsta rap, nickleson, scott etc., crew of about 50 of the buggers, generally a rite bunch of to$$ers.

slipknot would be typically listened to but wot most people call 'grungers' meaning followers of rock, metal, or any form of REAL music.

and 'moshers'? havent heard that one used before but i assume this is anyone who moshes (obviously!) so probably 'grungers', you cant really mosh to hip-hop......

And possibly grunge too...

I think mosher is generally used to describe people who are about 12 and wear Nirvana hoodies.
