I decided to have a look on eBay by searching for Gmail on there...
It brings up 1937 results, someone's trying to sell [email protected] for $999, while loads of invites are being sold for about $3 each!
[email protected] is going for $99! Why?!? It's crap!
Has anyone else got an account yet, I got in there pretty early and I've nabbed a VERY good email address.
Let's just say it isn't phi11ip.

Gmail is free but you cant sign up for it like hotmail. You have to get invited by some1 who already has it.

I don't really care about the loss of privacy, because you don't really have it anyway. But I've had my hotmail for years and I see no reason to change it. Far too many folk have it now anyway.
Only problem with it is needing a POP3 address to set up accounts with some places.

Hotmail will give you tonnes of space soon anyway.
What is so special about that you should pay for it? Or is it like that hotmail that gives you loads of space and other handy things?
