I'd say it easily rivals them all. It's a fine addition to the series that should have been longer with a better narrative and an extra town.
I liked the sailing and I found it felt like Zelda but a different Zelda at that. A great refreshing experience?
Cel-shading a mistake? It was the saving grace of that particular game.

You need them to get the triforce pieces. Even though it's obvious where some of them are.

You did to start off with, don't think you do now though.

It was limited edition.

Not all that limited though. I got Wind Waker the day it came out. Just over a year and a half later - before which time I had sold my Gamecube - I bought the game again, having bought a Gamecube again. This particular version wasn't the limited edition. It didn't work, so I took it back to GAME and they gave me a replacement... only it was a brand new copy of the limited edition.
Result.

The non-limited version was also around at the time of release. Strangely enough it was the same price.

I would say no unless you got it REALLY, REALLY CHEAP. It was only my 2nd Zelda game (after Ocarina), and i found that it was far too short (completed in 5 days, and i wasnt rushing because i like get the most i can out of a game i payed £40 for!) and the storyline is alomost exactly the same as with every other Zelda. Only worth a £10...
