Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

Before I started playing I made some alterations to the game, basically making Cambridge mega-rich with a huge reputation, and reducing Chelsea's reputation to 0.

I forgot about this, and went and managed abroad. Ended up doing okay in Scotland, then say Chelsea were advertising for a manager.

Got the job, and they're in the Championship, and struggling. Four of five seasons into the game, this is. Turns out thta most players left in the first season, and they were left with kids. Only Geremi, Makalele and Smertin survive from the old days.

They still have buckets of money, but no one will sign for them, as they're practically unknown. Managed to sign Mido and Bentley though, and they're dong okay - just can't assemble a decent defence. Even if I offer players 80000 a week they won't come!

Sitting in the bottom play-off position at the moment so hopefully I'll have a little more power if I make it back into the Prem.

Out of the League Cup in the first round losing 2-1 to Rotherham, (who are 3rd in the championship), and I then scrapped to a 1-0 win in the league scoring a cracker of a goal in the 84th minute keeping me top having won 4 and drawn 1.

Haven't bothered downloading the demo yet, and hearing all of the problems with it I dont think I will. I can wait for the full game in November.

I've just downloaded a very good update, it's very up-to-date too, think it's up to when Newcastle signed Owen.

That sounds about right! I lost 5-1 to a team called Jena from Germany,
they were all over me and I hardly got a kick!

Didnt think to look at the stats for their players but they were all computer generated ones!

Do you know how far into the season you can go on the demo?

Is anyone else finding the demo a bit tricky? I played with the Pre season with Arsenal (my team) and only won one game out of 5 against unheard of German minnows!! And I was pretty much playing the full team!

Didnt get into the league so I'll have to see how that goes!

How many games can you play on the demo by the way?

Why?

I regularly play van den Borre (17) and Rensing (20). I'm sure I've got others too, apart from Rooney and Ronaldo :D.

I have been offered jobs from England and Portugal

But i stuck with my good old Man United

My oldest player is dida at 35

the age limit is until they retire or 36 then they can go and then someone young can take his place

also my palyers need to be 21 to break into the first team.
