Before the second half gets under way. When is the X800 XT due for a release? I want to put my 9800 XT on eBay however I don't want to be waiting around for ever for a release. I last heard August over here and I can't find a date on OverClockers where I want to order it from.

Cheers!

Nice one mate, you got the board for it? I recommend the K8T not the K8N, the K8T is on this week only for £56 at OCUK..bargain in my view! I've got the board and it's excellent.

Some people are saying it could be as late as august, the X800 Pro's are excellent, I've got one, decided to stick with my machine and get a laptop at a later date. Also what is your spec? because people are saying that unless your running a very high end P4 or an Athlon 64 (I'm running the 3200 64) then you may as well get a pro because the XT won't show it's performance on the lower - mid range pc's.

So a UK release is within the next few weeks then? I want to sell my 9800 XT but I don't want to be left running a mobo default in between.

Christ, i think the RRP of the XT is about £50 more than the pro.

The Connect 3d X800XT card I ordered was actually cheaper than most other brand X800 PROs!! Including several 9800XTs!!

Not to my knowledge, only the x800 pro, probably why people are buying it to try the mod, that and the cash saving of course.
