We've done it the other way round because of the club/hall we wanted for Reception wasn't available earlier and iot also gives us something to look forward to when we get back.

My sis got married last summer and just went back to their flat on the wedding night.

I can't imagine ending such a perfect day going back to something so boring! lol

Ideally i'd go on my honeymoon straight from reception but if not i think i'd like to go to a hotel in the country after the reception!

It great, hasn't changed life much since we lived together for 4 years prior to getting wedding anyway but yeh im happy looking forward to going away and then having a big reception party on our return.
