I'm not going to ask how to obtain a USB cable because I'm an idiot and cannot read my manual like over THREE people have done in the last month; I'm wanting some recomendations about which are the best camera phones. Why? Because I'm a sucker and feel the need to conform, and though I love my 8310, it's not a picture-taking beast. (If anyone wants to buy a Nokia 8310, give me a shout).

I've been asking around which are the best sort of camera phones, but people tend to always recomend their own, mostly because they know their own better than other sorts of phone, and also because they're stupid and bought the first thing that stood out in Argos, or got extorted by the Carphone Warehouse salesman.

Anyway I'm not particularly limited to one brand of phone, though I do tend to find Nokias easy to use and I dont much favour those "joypad" style controllers.

Except those brief stipulations I'm really open to your recomendations, so please offer me some camera phone knowledge.

Disagree mate,
the V300, V500, V525 i personally think are crap. The camera, hmm it's ok, not the best. But the phones in general arn't good, they are your basic sms and call phone. thats all the really can do.
Not worth the money imo.

Nokia 6600.
Good camera, you can listen to mp3's, also put films on there.
I have been watching shrek, simpsons and south park on mine, great quality too.

As for connecting to the pc, if your phone has a memory expansion slot (for example the 6600 takes mmc cards) then you could just buy a card reader for ya pc. Then you would just take the card out the phone, plug it into the card reader, put what ya want on it and then put it back into the phone.
The other option would be to buy a bluetooth dongle and connect the phone to the computer via bluetooth.

Speak to me on messenger if ya like mate for info and good deals on phones :P

I have the Samsung E710 - the Vodafone Exclusive version of the E700 - a great phone with excellent image and camera quality.

I've currently got my eyes on the new V80 from Motorola - the rotating one. Looks sweet.

I haven't owned a camera phone before, but plan to sometime in the future. If you want a nice compact one, with a decent screen and run of the mill quality image at an affordable price, along with a nice bit of customisation, I suggest this:

I have used it and think its pretty neat.

Nokias just don't cut it any more Para. They are not as reliable as they used to be and the menus are ever more bloated and difficult to navigate. I used to swear by them, not now. The best phones I've ever had were all Ericssons, although I currently have a Samsung V200 which is brilliant. http://www.ciao.co.uk/Samsung_SGH_V200__Review_5421645

Also consider the X1 or X2 from O2. They are pretty good as well. My mate has one.
