Nah i dont think it's insomnia, i just find it difficult to stick to a 24 hour scheduel, i seem to be going on a 26 or 28 hour clock.

Normal person:16 hours awake + 8 hours sleep = 24 hours
Myself: 18 hours awake + 8 or 10 hours sleep = 26 or 28 hours

I could get up at 8am and it would gradually just be falling asleep later until i'm up til 5am and getting up in the afternoon, not much i can do about it.

Ah. Is it insomnia then? I don't know too much about it as I used to do it out of choice. I suppose the recommendation of sleeping pills etc have already been noted...

I do know that the sleep cycle can be a vicious one if you fall out of line - I recently had sleep problems, but it only involved a few hours - going to sleep around 1-1:30, getting up at 5 - small time stuff, but it still had an effect on me. I'm still not entirely over it, but I can now get up at 5 without feeling too sleepy.
