Do any of you smoke and do those various 'threats' put you off?

I don't smoke. However my neighbour's brother does, and he's only 13. It's sad, really.

Gave up on the 2nd Jan. I've had a crap couple of weeks though, and bought 20 on Friday. Saturday mornings hacking session reminded me why I stopped to start with.

Had it, it sort of put me off trying to get again.

I smoke occasionally. However i used to be a heavy smoker! I quit about 8 months ago. However ive started again as the stress of moving house, planning a wedding, and a new job. However lung cancer does run in my family as both sets of grandparents died of lung cancer. And my dads cousin had to have his voice box removed because of it.

I am a non-smoker, but i dont mind people who do smoke. Its up to them really. The rest of my family smoke.

I almost faint when I can smell other people's fags so I definately aren't taking the risk of killing myself.

Oh and them NHS adverts are really affective, they're really scary too.

I've smoked before, but only for novelty value. I definitely wouldn't smoke again - I've seen too many bad effects of it.

But after quoting the NHS advert?
