...was, in my opinion, the best penalty taken during the shoot-out - possibly disregarding Postiga's.

But it was near perfect. Right into the corner, plenty of power - James had no chance of stopping it.
What a guy.

Saves a penalty with no gloves, then scores the winning penalty. I'm going to sign this guy on Pro Evo.

Can't argue with that penalty really, one of the best I've ever seen.

Shouldn't have went in though! *cries*

I'll agree with that. I think it's his methods.

Sod the whole anticipation crap, James - just be on your toes and look at where the ball's going. Two Portuguese players played two incredibly slow shots (for a penalty) near-ish to the middle of the goal - they both scored. If James hadn't have dived the wrong way, like he did, they'd have been stopped.

James is usually quite good at saving pens.

It was quality that the keeper saved it with no gloves and then scored a great one himself.

I highly, highly doubt that.

I'm not sure if he can speak English.
:^D

But seriously - what a guy. What on Earth possessed him to save it without gloves?! Why in the first place?!

The no gloves thing makes him legendary.

Just wondering what he was thinking when he was clenching his fists when he saved the pen
